Did Bush win fairly or was it fraud? Oddly the exit polls matched the results in states with computerized voting and a paper trail. The final results for Bush were higher in states where there was no paper trail including Ohio and Florida. See http://www.counterbias.com/152.html and http://blackboxvoting.org

If its a few thousand votes you can make a case, but with 300k in Florida and 150k in Ohio there isn't much of one.
If there was any doubt as to the winner you know the Kerry Camp would have fought it. The fact that they looked at the numbers and conceded makes it clear it was a clean vote. |

I definitely think electronic voting machines with no paper trail are a bad idea. At the very least we should be implementing systems that make voters feel more confident that their votes are counted.
However, the woman who runs that blockbox voting thing is a bit of a loon. _____________________

There was a paper trail in Ohio, most of the state used the punch card ballots. In fact, I think Ohio uses more punch cards than any other state.

Wow, and they accuse conservatives of being conspiracy theorists... Yeah, I suppose. Just a long shot to cheer me up that the results of the election could be overturned. I'm very afraid for our country and the world under Bush. |

I would say by the use of voter suppression tactics, inflated felon roles, over zealous calling of "spoilage" ballots, prevention of recounts by employment of paperless electonic voting systems. lying to the electorate, and strongarming the media...
The Republicans stole this election fair and square. |
