Ok If I go in a group in 1.2 does the land in the group count against everyone with in the group or can a group effectively own more land than the combined members do effectively?
Also with that does that allow the group to have a set number of prims within that "Group" owned land which is set aside from the members individual land & prim limits?
I only ask this because some of us cannot afford Lifetime Memberships but due to diligence and hard work have effectively worked to a point of where we can afford more than we could Initialy and now will be penilized RL because the land which I currently own I was able to maintain by paying my weekly taxes without going in the hole.
Currently I own 5300 meters of land and was able to afford it under the tax system with my Stipend and Bonus.
Now that same piece of property is going to cost me $40 a month Real Life MONEY to maintain if I so deem to pay that much.
Only solution I see for me to maintain what I have is to start a group of 3 people since there is no such animal as a 2 person group and donate my land to the group. But If I donate to the group I am still stiffled due to I will still only be able to Rez approximately 200 prims for any continious amount of time.
Again this is very dibilitating I will still not be able to Rez anything in my inventory that is as intense as Big Red was.
Big Red=304 prims
This 1.2 based on the information I have seen thus far will effectively stiffle my game play due to the massive restrictions it will put on me as both a builder and clothing designer.
Not every cloud has a silver lining and from what I am seeing this one is getting blacker and blacker.

they haven't worked all this out yet so there are no answers.
my group owns 1152sm in two plots and we plan to keep and use it after 1.2. but we have no idea what that will end up costing us or how we'll use/share the prims on it. i'm sure that information will be forthcoming as soon as the iron out the details. |
