We thank everyone so much for there comments on " Bloody Mary ". The SL community has been incredibly supportive in this endeavor which only makes the two of us want to do more. We do agree that the actors involved do need to be credited. Our method for creating this piece involved going to a strange costume contest and capturing the footage. I was curious if i could create a story out of the shots i found. Going into i had no idea “Bloody Mary” would emerge. If anyone knows the SL id of any actors inside the flick it would be great if you could let me know so they can get the credit they deserve. Some SL's wondered how we archived certain effects. Most where done in post using a tool known as After Effects. Also, Neil protagonist worked on a few shots in a software packaged called digital fusion. We where just lucky when shooting initially to have captured certain shots like the drunk girl ducking; or the medics entering the building, or any of those characters being there at all. It was only fate. Recently, i discovered users of “there” have been creating moves as well in there free time. Below is a link to the work known as the “ Avie Who Shagged Me ” The Austin Powers piece has won a few awards and he doing a fair job of promoting it. Is there anyone else in the game creating these types of films. I honestly believe SL is a much better and open environment to shoot these in-world movies when compared to “There” and i want to prove it. I'd like to begin shooting another short movie as soon as possible to keep the momentum moving. Last night i checked out the Horror Sim. Its the perfect setting for a hockey mask ax wielding psycho to wreck havoc on a few unsuspecting teenagers, of course some twist would have to be involved. I'm very new to SL and still fumbling around so I'm not sure what the precedent is or if the Sim Horror Group would even allow us to shoot it their sim. If anyone is interested in helping out and being filmed, please let me know. You can either e-mail me at brad@bradhenderson.info or i can IM you in the game once i know you'd like to join in on the fun a create another flick with us. Thanks for any help.

Hey Brad, Sweet job man!!!! I'm a friend of Neil and Neph Protagonist Real Life! Anyway, we all went to the same school for 3D and Neil talked me into the SL thing, said SL "NEEDS" some real quality anims this thing is hot!!!!! To the point bro, we gotta hook up. I am a 3D character animator and I'm starting to get the hang of this Poser deal ;PPPPPPPP (definately no Lightwave ;P but a tool nonetheless.) Seen GREAT stuff in here, everyones efforts are way above what you may expect, and I love it. Being maybe one of the few true RL 3D animators I just want to help bring quality to the SL Iniverse. I went ape sh** on Neil, over the phone, when he told me about it. The possibilities are endless!!!! Because now we can make custom animations for the characters in the film!!! Holla at me when you're ready Hitchcock!!!! Great job!!!!!

Welcome to SL Jonny! I think you'll be surprised how many animators there are here. Quite a few people from the games industry, and a few freelance corporate hacks like me. hehe. You'll have a blast. And Pierce, Bloody Mary rocked! Can't wait to see the next thing you and your girlfriend come up with.

That's fun, I hope I see more. From: Pierce Portocarrero Is there anyone else in the game creating these types of films. There have been a number of films made. I remember a wedding film, a film the Lindens made about releasing 30 new sims (how times change) and others but I don't have the links. I have this one though. Some films from the Tyrell Corporation

I made a promo video for a jet I sell, as well as Francis Chung's Jet Ski. I wanted to do (a lot) more work on it but then I had a hard drive crash and after that I never got around to finishing it. http://kadath.org/media/Lift.zip

Here is the film the Lindens made of 24 new sims coming on line. Amazingly it is still on their server. It's classic. Also 54 megs.
