It is a weird idea to put a welcome area, where lots of ppl (with all kinds of weird attachments and such) will congregate, at a sim corner.

It is actually a good idea in theory as it allows people in 4 sims to see and hear each other at once; the original "Stage 4" in Ahern/Morris/Something/Something was built around this concept. I wouldn't take one sim crash as proof that it is a bad idea in practice.

I really like the new 4C WC - it's well designed.
Not sure if any of the other 3 Sims went down also...just that I can't remember eren crashing at the old 4C WC - ah, one time i do remember. _____________________

I've been hanging around the new Welcome Area quite a bit. I like it. My only complaint is there aren't enough proper benches or chairs to sit on. Trying to sit on the fountain or stonework often results in "you're not in the same region" errors, even if you're right next to the spot you're trying to sit on.
