Ya I do hope they fix this. Having never cleaned my inventory since I started Second Life, I have an object directory that actually lags people in neighboring sims.

I have 1000+ objects in my inventory titled 'object' from when I moved the Shelter from Fudo to Isabel, and all the old stuff was returned. The urgency to clean that stuff up has been... <ahem>... low. Oh my freaking god..... could *I* be my own lag problem? /shudders Travis.... the walking, talking.... and now lag-producing dog?

I have been playing for about two months. My inventory is a thing of beauty. It is filled with hundreds - well, probably thousands - of free things available in the world, unpacked, sorted into categories, and checked for duplication. Example: I have 45 items under Drinks - Alcoholic and 11 under Drinks - Non-Alcoholic. My Textures folder has about 25 sub-categories. I have spent hours working on my inventory.
Now is that obsessive-compulsive or what? Or maybe anal inventory retentive!
Here's a question: Is the only way to see an item of clothing (unless it's boxed with a picture) to try it on? Cause it takes like five minutes for a shirt to finally go on me. I wish I could just SEE the shirt without having to put it on. I will never get through my clothing folders at this rate.

From: Marcos Fonzarelli My inventory is neatly organized and smells of lemon freshness! Bite me. And Coco, I know what you mean about your clothes not appearing on your avatar instantly. Very annoying. It helped when I got a new PC. But what I can suggest is that you go to a new sim that's moslty for sale or not auctioned yet (without any builds). These places have really high fps because of lack of scripts, etc. That's where I used to change, and sort out clothing, because stuff appeared on my avatar faster.

I'm seriously thinking of investing in more boxes to keep my poop stuff in, just to cut down on the lag.....and my clutter for that matter. From: Aimme Weber Yes coco, it is It's VERY annoying when you need to look for a poorly named item. I love how I'll have an outfit, and I try to rename it so *I* know where it is, and one (just one) of the items is no-mod. *sigh* Is it just me or do textures on your own personal body now seem to get corrupted/take 5 years to load properly instead of big blurry mess/greybody?

Yesterday I bought what I hope will be the end of my inventory woes. Toneless Tomba sells storage boxes, four in a pack, into which you can put up to approx 6,000 items and the boxes are secure enough to be left in your house or whatever. I'm going to use mine for all the useless things blocking up my inventory that i don't want to delete but which i really don't want in my main inventory. I think they are going to be my inventory's salvation Alexa

I know they are in my inventory somewhere..I just can't find them...
