I havent smoked anything in a month now and besides taking up cigarettes again and drinking alcohol again I feel fine

There's actually good and bad points about it it, just that it's all pretty even, good and bad, wether I'm smoking or no it seems. I dont feel any better or worse. A little more stressed a little less cloudy.

Anyone here about the bill that someone is writing up about testing positive for marijuanna as being as prosecutable as driving drunk? Why are some people so ignorant?

Here is my sad pot story.

When i smoke pot I have this reaction:

- shortness of breath
- I become extremely tired. I literally cannot function.

It is pretty sad.

When I was younger and smoked some pot at a friend's house I became so knocked out that I just had to sleep. My friend (who was a big pot smoker, but completely functional) sat down and broke the bad news to me.

It was kind of funny. She told me this.

"Honey, pot is an organic material. Just like anything else, some people are allergic to it. It seems you are one of those people. Maybe pot isn't for you."

I think she was right. I've tried it many times since and always get the same results. Most recently I was on the beach in Lagos, Nigeria and smelled some "ganga" being smoked. I sent one of the local guys to bring me a joint. Two puffs and I was totally fucked. I am stranded on the beach and my boat isn't scheduled to arrive for another two hours. I am surrounded by Nigerians partying into the night.

I sat in my chair and managed to get someone to fetch me a spot on the locals boat to the mainland. It was sad. Still no fun from pot.

I have a ton of friends who love it and I love them. I am just insanely jealous that I can't enjoy it on their level.

Here is my happy pot story.

When I smoke pot I have this reaction:

- Mood lift
- Relaxation, stress reduction
- Creative, philosophical or deep thinking: ideas flow more easily.
- Increased appreciation of music. More aware of, deeper connection to music.
- Increased awareness of senses. (eating, drinking, smell)
- Change in experience of muscle fatigue. Pleasant body feel. Increase in body/mind connection.
- Pain relief

It is pretty happy.

Oddly enough I don't like alcohol either.

Alcohol makes me feel really really good, until the next morning.

But, there is a vote today for the county beside mine to go wet. If it does, I will be 5 minutes away from a bar/steakhouse/karaoke joint.

Happy days!

The bad news is this county probably won't vote to sell alcohol, they are also voting on whether to open stores on Sunday
