As part of my evil land baron duties I scripted a postal truck which does a quick run around (~60 seconds) every 2 hours in borderman. Probably just got 30% of borderman. Gotta get back to work If you want the truck to come by your house in Borderman, IM me x/y coords for the corners (middle of road, not the sidewalk) starting from 212.8/127 and I'll send them your way as well. If a few people do this, I'll add postal delivery of objects..

In case you were a sad sack and thought I was advertising something .. I wasn't. It's free. I just thought it'd liven borderman up in a consistent way.
Postal service, a business? Come on.

Cool! So we can grab a copy and program it with our own coordinates?

Yup, absolutely. Camp out in borderman and chase it down when it goes on its route. Free to copy, free to resell, do whatever.
But it's actually pretty trivial to write as I just use setpos. It's figuring out all the waypoints which is really annoying.
Need to improve the turning, though. Physics aren't turned on, so the damping doesn't work so well and it looks a little jittery.
If you do use the script, the only cost is you can't sit and snipe at other people in these forums.

This would be awesome in the city sims, with the roads and all.

Goshua: I've been working on the waypoints for Grignano. I have it mostly figure out, but have a few glitches here and there. I was considering changing the vehicle from a mail truck to either: a) a Police Car b) a Taxi Cab c) a city bus. Any suggestions either way? All non-commercial of course. I am just hoping to bring a little life and activity to the city sims. They are jsut way too dead Blaze: Very cool, man. I've been wanting to compile a script similar to yours but haven't had the time due to work and school and such.
