Is this like a roach motel and after all the certain-someones-who-know-who-they-are run in to swear (Because God knows they don't get enough of it in their daily lives (Oh, but this is different; it's a forum! I absofuckinlutely have to fucking agree with your fucking sentiment. It is fucking obvious that most fucking people enjoy fucking say the word "fuck". Why the fuck? Who the fuck knows. But what the fuck is the difference? Every fucking body fucks up sometimes and slips the fuck up and says fuck. Granted, when in genteel company saying the "f" word is probably a fucking sign of ignorance but who the fuck cares. Fuck it.

Seriously though, you'd think none of you get to swear in your daily lives. What's the sudden appeal? Were you sitting around without an outlet, smashing your finger with a hammer and saying, "fiddle-dee-dee", or stepping on a nail and saying, "oh, my stars" until this forum rescued you? I probably produce a greater volume of profanity in my daily two mile commute than in this entire forum. Why's everyone going crazy?

Just an FYI.... I know Tourette's syndrome is notorious for causing compulsive swearing, but it bears mentioning that that particular tic makes up literally about 5% of TS cases. 95% don't do it.

I sure have to cuss my head off somewhere. I can't at work (when I do have work) and when I'm home there's usually no one here to cuss to. I can cuss at the cats but they don't appreciate fine slang and obscene vocabulary.

I’ve come to realize through my cats that nothing means anything without understanding. It’s who it offends is who you have to consider. We did the worst word thread. People can be offended by some every day words. Personally, I’m very offended by the sound of water pouring into a coffee cup.
