Tier Fees

A little confused, ... ---... ...---... ...---...

Are tier fees paid for the month ahead or for the previous month?

"Land Use Fees are monthly recurring charges for the peak amount of Second Life land held during the previous 30 days, minus the land allocation you received as part of your Premium membership plan."

Does this mean that the amount I paid on January First was for my land usage in December or for predicted land usage in January?

If my billing date is the first of the month, when it is the best time to tier up or tier down?

Its based on your billing date, everyone is different. Log in to your account and look at your land holdings, your billing date is at the bottom. My next billing date is January 27th, so I will be billed for the greatest amount of land I owned between 12-28 and 01-27.
