Fix The Lag

Ok, seriously. It would be totally froody of the ISP of the lindens to fix their freaking packetloss problems. I'm pretty tired of walking into a new sim and ending up 7 sims over due to my avatar continuously flying because of a dropped packet.

I live in Baker which is a pretty lag free sim it seems.

I'm a certified shopoholic, and when i first joined i would go scooting all over SL looking for clothes etc, but now I can hardly bear to venture out of my home sim.

I end up going under the ground frequently, and as LF said going miles away from where I intended and the little red bar on the top of my screen is almost permanently on full.

I know there have been other threads on this, but it seems to be getting worse and worse. I'm sure it wasn't this bad when i joined at the beginning of May.

It's not a very good impression for newbies, moving around SL is hard enough to get used to without the roblems the lag creates.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeze fix it.

or at least please keep us posted on what you're doing to try to fix it. i find that people can actually survive a few days without ebay and email if i just call them every six hours and tell them what we've tried so far and share our current theories.
