Tito or Anshe?


As we have all seen, there are two people that basically guarantee a thread to have hundreds of heated and controversial posts. I personally have great personal admiration for both, since they have accomplished much in their respective fields within SL, whether I agree with their views or not.

To that, and all with due respect to them, I would like to know your opinion on which of the these two fine people you believe has contributed the most, not only to forum discussions, but to SL in general.

Anshe for sure. With all due respect, I'm not sure what field Tito is in or what he has contributed.

We all know Anshe is a businesswoman and we all know her contributions well.

The forum is at its best when it is used to educate and discuss. The forum is at its worst when it is used to attack and humiliate.

Let's put ridiculous attacks like this behind us and use the forum to discuss the issues!

You are quite right, Ulrika. I have to remember sometimes (especially on the Forums) that what one writes is read by a lot of people, it's not like in-world where it's a private conversation.

I doubt Tito meant to actually attack anyone but I can understand why you are upset

which, I am sure, is exactly why you started this thread... to do something purposeful and valid like "discussing the issues" - right?

No. What I'm doing is unethical and wrong.

We cannot allow these forums to degrade to personal attacks and if I have to jeopardize my ability to post here to raise people's consciousness about it, I will.

Speak out against personal attacks in the forums so we can discuss freely without intimidation!

Um!!!, Ulrika one question why are you lowering your self to another level to debate symantics of a moot point lost on many that haven't a clue what this is about.

By doing this you are reinforcing perceptions and connotations of those that percieve you to be something you are not.

Your a Highly inteligent individual, I may disagree with your politics but the humanity aspect is a whole different context.

With all due respect Juro, those are not Ulrika's words. And since when is it wrong to speak up with an opinion, even if it is not a popular one. I know I sure don't let people stop me from speaking my mind. And I know there are times when people are not going to agree with me. Silly people that they may be. hehe.. j/k!

But seriously, I would think you would respect the difference between a solid debate (no matter how much you disagree with the opinion), and simple attacks and jabs.

And if you are just teasing, then I'll crawl back under a rock. You know how much I adore you!

For the record:

My only contribution to SL has been the $75 tier fee I pay for my land in Maui every month and the mega L$ I paid for it at the peak of the land bubble.

Outside of that, I am sorry, I help people in RL, not avatars in a game.

So please do as I did, vote for Anshe. She sold me most of my land, and for that I am grateful.
