Thio, New Caledonia Well you see, Gene, there's a story behind that. But first, New Caledonia? You musta made that up, because not only does it sound made up, but I never heard of it, da Cheat certainly never heard of it, and my stupid little brother... well enough about that. You see, one night, for really no good reason at all, we started to build Strongbadia. And if I do say so myself we were really off to a great start.  I mean we got so much done at first. The pellucid sky, the lovely untextured bushes. Hey, even Stick, Stop Sign and Concrete Block made it... Tire too. But like so many things in life, milkshakes, raisins, disposable lighters, and other stuff like that it sorta got forgotten about. I even tried getting things going again by putting up the inspirational "NO LOAFING!" sign. I know what you're thinking at this point, Luke, and it ain't pretty. You are probably saying to yourself sumptin like "hey, that STOP on Stop Sign was added into the photo to make it look like Stop Sign instead of just a red octagon!" And sad to say, my Caledonian friend, you'd be right. But having some pressing stuff to do over at Bubs' just 86ed our plans... or 87ed.... or some other number. So we will despair but briefly about the majesty that Strongbadia could have been. Maybe if Marzipan heads over there to spruce the place up a little bit, well, who knows, really. |
