I have a little less time for SL now that I've started aerobics. In a way it's fitting, since my obsession with SL is what gave me those extra pounds!

How much weight have you gained since playing SL?

I've gotten so wrapped up in my builds that I've forgotten to eat.
If only SL had a way to enhance muscle tone I'd be set.

I've lost weight. Eating would require me to get up out of the chair and enter that room with the sink and that cooking machine.

I have a friend in SL (who shall remain unnamed), who was actually taken to the hospital for dehydration after a marathon episode of playing SL!

No change. It's nice being in the sort of physical shape that a 20-mile hike is no big deal.

No change either. I started in August only, was exercising regularly before that, and go on doing that now. Probably not enough to make me help lose weight though, but as I have to do it for medical reasons, I don't see myself stopping even for SL, so... :p

No change for me. I could use some of your spare. I've weighed the same amount give or take a couple of pounds for the last 24 years. I'm too lazy for food. I haven't eaten since last night and I'm not really hungry, hehe. That whole recommended daily calories thing only applies if you actually burn them :D

I've lost weight consistently since joining SL. A side-effect of seeing a trim avatar and aspiring to fit? Who knows. What I *do* know is that I'm in better shape than I was, and I've lost over 60 pounds, and pretty proud of it.

I was just talking about this the other day - I've LOST weight since playing SL.

Harder to eat when you're using one hand on the mouse and the other hand on the keyboard.

I always keep a nice cold glass of diet peach iced tea at hand, though.

I eat dinner, but by cutting out the late night snacks with SL marathons....well, my pants fit much better than they have in a while ;-)

If anything I have lost weight, but mostly I stay the same. I too keep plenty of liquids nearby, but so far in the last 2 days I haven't eaten nothing but one apple. Not good I know. And staying up a long time playing SL is nothing compaired to the time I used to spend playing the first PC games ever created. That four day marathon once was such a blast...... To bad my dad did not think so... Oh well.............

Shazzam.....................

"A 16th century Italian cookbook 'The Manner of Cusine of What Meat for What Affair', offers a recipe for actually baking live birds between crust of a pie. If the instructions are followed corectly, the live birds will fly out of the pie when cut open. The reason for all this trouble was to create a special surprise amongst one's guests. In the 16th century, it was common for chefs to hide surprises inside a dinner pie."

I haven't noticed any change, but I don't own a scale, so I guess it could be a few pounds either direction.

(And kudos to Maxx. 60 pounds is nothing to sneeze at. You just lost as much as Kate Moss weighs soaking wet!)

I've gained weight only since starting work on slexchange.com.

This is mostly due to the fact that I was speed skating competitively prior to that. Going from training / working out 2 hours every day to sitting at a computer 16 hours a day can do that. :D

lost some, don't eat as much(who has time?), still exercise just as much - my exercise comes from my environment (fourth floor walkup apt and no car).

The thing about the bottle of water is good advice. The fact that I see that as "good advice" is a bit scary. Heh.

I have lost weight, but that is because of my job. I don't get to play SL but once in a while and last time was 4 months ago.

I was just evaluating my physical activity this morning.

I'm a bout the same weight as when I started SL, but I sure could use a day out having fun moving my body in a recreational way. Maybe after that I'll contemplate actualy joining a bowling league or something :)

Seriously, I think a little exercise will be an asset to complement the creative and social exercise of SL.

I wish improved health and happiness for all.

My weight has not changed. It does what it ALWAYS does...fluctuates like a yo-yo.

I smoke more and drink more, but my weight has gone down

for a while I was pretty damned underweaight...

Imagine a gangly six foot tall pale woman with bags under her eyes from long hours in front of the computer....

Thank god for ice cream or I would probably be dead from malnutrition (Ice cream has vitamins, and so do cigarettes, it's statistaclly proven... no, really)
