Life Is Like a Box of Chocolates?

I never understood the phrase, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get" that was made the tagline of Forrest Gump. In fact, you do know what you're going to get, because boxes of chocolates have a little card in them telling you what each one is. And even if you lose that, you certainly know whatever you get will involve chocolate. To be even more pedantic, the words "you never know" are innapropriate since after you get it, you know what you got.

Is it Friday yet? It is? Good.

And here I though that 80's pop star's thought processes were limited to Aqua Net and heroin.

I stand corrected and amused.
