I have seen this black thing on walls, land water, you name it.
if I point to it the name of what it is over shows up. Is anyone else seeing anything like this it started with 1.2.0

Looks like a high (low?) alpha partical effect. Someone may be messing with you but that's what it looks like to me. A set of dispersing particals.

I reported this last week. Basicly you can see glows around objects from way too far away.

Personally I can see the glows from Chip Midnights house on the far side of Freelon from my place in Minna.

If you turn off glows around lighting this goes away.

I have a nvidia quadro 400 nvs video card

glows have been broken since beta. have they ever actually worked?
i dunno. just turn them off and keep youre fingers crossed

Ah ok I miss interpreted the photo. Yea i turn on glows just long enough to see something glow then turn them back off, until objects/land can actualy block glows and they scale to distance their no good.

I hear voices....dont see many glows or high partical thingys.......but always the voices.....

Those spots just started with 1.2 for me. I had glows around lighting on all the time before that.

yeah, it's glows around lights. turn it off. you'll get higher frame rates without it, too.
