i kno this is dumb, but when making a texture for a shirt or a tattoo, how do you make the rest of the image alpha?? I NEED TO KNO!! thanx!

i use paint shop pro's magic wand to:

select everything i DON'T want in the texture,

reverse the selection to what i DO want to see,

create an alpha channel,

then save the channel as a tga file.

the only tricks are setting the vertical & horizontal placements and sizing the texture per meter once it's applied.

ok, I havn't done this in a while but here it goes.

Open a new pic,
Create Alpha Channel layer
Select alpha channel layer.
Paint whatever you want to be "clear" (it will be black on white)
Save as .TGA 32 BIT!!!! has to be 32 or else it will not work!
