The sandbox is a fun sim, I myself love playing with physics there but.....

Please consider lowering it below the sims around it. It is becoming a mess for the sims around it.

Stray objects and such. Also maybe a sound buffer and/or wall around it, would help with pollution from the sandbox that spreads out beyond its borders.

Remember objects in the sandbox get deleted everynight, but not the trash that litters the joining sims from the sandbox.

Maybe also put a tag on objects created in the sandbox to delete nightly regardless of where they land.

Yes, there is a very pretty house right there in rose, that we umm keep crashing into by accident.... Also yes, the little rides that are made sometimes get lost in Rose, I agree completely with charlie, tagging the objects made in the Sandbox is a very good idea.

seconded on all accounts, as I'm a major sandbox user and feel the out-of-control nature of the sandbox sim sorta ruins it for surrounding sims.
There are a few controls that would make it easy for all the bad things to be fixed, however, I have no idea if the Lindens have the power to implement such controls.
I was thinking of making a proposal for a 4 sim sandbox block, connected to the mainland by 1 other sandbox sim, and in the 4 sim area, rules like 31 prims going physical or not being able to link across 40 meters, would be abolished, and it would be a non-constraint sim where I could swing a 300 meter axe, until it hit the 1 sim sandbox bridge, where it would just die.

But, that's a lil' cwazy don't you think? :D

Dave once again you are a genius! I say lets do this please lindens. The sandbox is tons of fun, and a great place to kick all us physics lovers so we don't crash sims :) , everything dave said would help fix rose and the surrounding sims.

I also like daves idea as I am starting to use the sanbox area. Due to the fact I no longer have my own personal property.

I love the sandbox, I go there when I feel the need to implode some buildings. I love getting the attention of other people when I have a building fall on them :)

I was thinking that we need to have the sandbox sim be disconnected from the world, like the Preludes. This way, nothing falls into or out of this sim.

If you make the landscape of the sandbox lower than the surrounding sims, then objects from Rose and such may fall into Olive and be deleted by mistake.

James I was thinking of having the "4 sim sandbox block" be disconnected altogether, but I know a lot of people who would rather fly than teleport, that's why I suggested connecting it to mainland with 1 other sandbox sim, only this one would have the rules intact, and a huge mountain, so it would be hard to get crap from the 4 sim area to the regular sims.

:-) no biggy Dion, was just thinking of all the other sims around us. Also the bump noises are kinda annoying lol. I got a script that reduces collision noises. Let me know if any of you in there want it. (I'll have to dig it up)

But yea a few objects aren't a biggy to delete. But when plots get sold in Rose the new owners may not like it. And Lyn don't like rockets lodged in the mansion lol.
