Uhm, there's a racoon caught in a live trap in my attic. Newp, I am not kidding. The landlord will probably take him for a ride out into the country tomorrow for that 'last mile'... =/ Anyhbody wanna racoon before he becomes redneck stew?

Racoons = BAD PETS...

My parents adopted an abandoned Racoon as a baby, back when I was an infant...
People, they are just overgrown rodents... and clever trouble-making ones at that!
This one thought my dad was a tree; so whenever she was frightened or excited she'd claw her way up to the top of his head and try to rip out his hair to make a nest to hide in.
She also liked beer and would apparently try to raid the fridge and the pantry if they let her out of their sight....
I'm guessing they'd be a bit gamey to eat - plus rodents are reknowned for carrying lots of communicable diseases (Squirrels are the worst - averaging something like 20+ diseases per animal; at least according to some old trivia I learned)...

Yeah, he's a horrid little monster, that racoon! Im convinced the only reason the landlord wants to get rid of him is because the little guy's outsmarted the big dumb redneck for the past two winters and avoided capture...  Maybe I should go turn him loose.  |
