Teen Grid - Accessible?

I recently got an invite to the teen grid, but I can't sign up - it still says to contact support because it's an underaged account, but isn't that the point of the Teen Grid? I was wondering if someone else knew how to get it working or did manage to get it working.

I assume you are asking this to sign up a minor in your household?

Since if you are posting here you already have an adult account. And therefore are presumably too old for the teen grid.

I think that was the point - I remember something about previously booted minors with SL main grid accounts being invited to the teen grid. Which is what I presumed was the case with Chris, and that now he's trying to act on that invite, it's still telling him he's underage. Or I could be way off base.

Presumably you're trying a new name entirely? I'm guessing that you can't duplicate main grid names on the teen grid. My guess is, this aside, that your credit card or IP is linked to a previously banned account, and that those bans must be across the board. I'd do as it says - contact support. After all, they invited you!

If the account was banned for someone being under age .. why are they able to post on these forums?

I was under the impression a banned acount cant go to the forums either.

Considering the topics discussed in these forums they most definitely arent PG 13.

I also would like to point out they should NOT specifically Invite minors who were banned to the teen grid.

They were banned for breaking the rules, now they will be invited to the teen grid when they have proven to be willing to disreguard the TOS?

If they apply on their own with parental consent, etc, no i dont expect LL to find and stop them.

But actually contacting them to join? -thats a bad idea.
