Groups question

Hello! I'm fairly new and have a question about groups.
I bought my 512 lot, and have set that to my home location.
I have another person I'd also like to be able to use my home
as his landing point. Is there a way I can make him a part of
my land ownership? Is this what group-owned land does, and if
so, how do I do it? I know you need 3 people to form a group, which
wouldn't be a problem, I just don't know where to go from there.

If you set the land to group.. you don't need to deed it, just donate it, then anyone in the group can set their home to that location.

At least that is my undersanding of how this works.
