I am tired of reading all this rubbish today on various threads on this forum. Mmmm, yes. Sometimes I can be very direct. I have canceled two planned projects because of SLExchange's healthy competition. But this nonsense is simply too much. I have my business ethics and would rather shut my own business than see such drama happen to somebody else.
Apotheus Silverman and Merwin Marker are both two very nice people. Since I joined Second Life I experienced both of them be honest, honorable and generous members of community. I remember when Apo published vendor scripts in public domain, some of which I modified and still use today. I remember Merwan's excellent contributions, the Awakening Avatars just to name one.
Now there is some issue between them. Which I hope they will be able to solve. I believe they will. And of course everybody here will be supportive, lend them advice, help them better understand each others situation and find understanding?
All I see is drama whoring and even "boycott SLExchange" threads. This is so shameless it make my stomach turn upside down. As long as both parties in this conflict support SLExchange, calling for boycott is absolutely uncalled for. It is immoral.
Please give Apo and Merwin help and encouragement. Support SLExchange as you have done in past. Please give our friends one helping hand and not make things worse for them.

hear hear! Anshe.
For once I agree with you. That whole apology thread was amonsgt some of the most childish behaviour I have seen on the forums. You don't see that behaviour going on in real life when a business changes hands (unles it gets shut down), so why does it happen here?
Anyway, enough drama creating, I get to create enough of this on the helpdesk here, speaking of which, there goes my phone.....

I agree Anshe - this is an internal issue, and is best resolved internally. The boycott is simply premature considering we know basically *nothing* about the situation.

Me two. Support them both or be left with spilt milk.

I disagree. I think what we need are more threads on the subject, with no further information provided. Also, Blake needs to make three polls on which threads are the best, and then he needs to make a poll on which of his polls is the best.

I'd have to agree that using the forums to align the public against an individual without explicit proof of how they are openly violating the TOS or exploting the economy is wrong.

Oh, I wouldn't worry. SLExchange will do just fine.
I actually made more sales yesterday on SLExchange than I have in the last two weeks.
