Introducing SimKast ...

Hey ya'll, I'm Kandi, General Manager of the HOTTEST online radio station - SimKast . We have been on air for TWO YEARS playing in various MMORPG's where "simulated" lives are. Two years of experience and dedication to our listeners brings you a very well-rounded and productive station.

What do we do? Well quite simply we are Webcasters - we play music through an online server direct to your computer's media program.

What does SimKast stand for?
Sim for Simulated and Kast for webcast

How do we do this? We have a streaming server which we connect to and channel our mp3's through it to you. We don't house music online, we keep it on our computers. We are LIVE radio station, which means that we have LIVE DJ's on air talking and giving shout outs to those who are listening in. Taking YOUR requests and playing the songs YOU want to hear. Have that special someone or perhaps that person you have been meaning to tell how much you care? Send an on air dedication to break the ice! Ask the DJ to play a song and tell them what to say and that's it! Sit back and enjoy the reaction and ... of course ... the benefits *winks*

Why do we do this? To provide a FUN and entertaining environment while you are in-game. We also play in-game so we can mingle with you. This is actually the best part of it all! We get to hang out with you and play the songs YOU want to hear!

About us ... We are an uncensored station, not governed by FCC Regulations. Which means that we can be "real" people on air! We aren't nasty, we do take responsibility for our shows and on air presence. We give our DJ's 100% creative rights to their shows and BOY can they turn up the heat!

Eggy - not sure really. As far as I know there aren't any other stations that is in-game. But there are a TON of net-stations.

Snoopy, we will play whatever is requested. Our station is run by requests - which makes us 100% unique. So if you don't like what's being played then you can change it up by requesting. All the DJ's have a playlists which will tell you what music they have. At any time you can contact me or Shauna (partner) to get requests on air.

Actually we've been on air for a year and in-game for a few weeks now. We've just been re-grouping from other gaming areas and getting our selves together to get this kicked up in a higher gear. We've been doing some in-game promotions already and getting some of the ground work done.

Like the plugs for SL on your site - all very cool reasons to try it out. Nice job.

Ok, so I went to the page and it's covered with links to all kinds of stuff. <sarcasm>It even is kind enough to open browser windows to other sites.</sarcasm> Where's the link to start playing the stream?

The links to other stuff on the site is because it's an active website and we have supporters in other gaming areas and we are active in other gaming areas.

What program are you going to use to stream the station with? At the top right corner of the website are 2 icons to listen with either Winamp or Music Match ... it's says "choose your player" next to them ... if you click them and you have the program, it will auto open/stream for you.
