Enough said :-)

Did they add that, or are you requesting it? I think its a good idea to have a retractable package since it looks really odd on some smaller avatars

The Lindens added it. I took the quote from the v. 1.1.5 release notes.

Hmmmm. Perhaps the Lindens are playing a joke. I cannot find the new adjustment.

Ahhh!! Apparently the "packages" can only be adjusted in mature sims. Wise move Lindens.

Wierd. When I logged on in Olive, the new slider wasn't there. Now it is and I am in a PG sim.

LOL, next thing you know, packages will instantly disappear when flying over a PG sim, and if you try flying into one naked the system will automatically make you wear some crappy default clothes.

New Packages look great!! Er... not that I was looking... uhmm, hmm. Anyway, good new feature :) I like the inside corner of the eye adjustable too.

Another smart idea, the "packages" aren't anatomicly correct, although it does look odd just having a lump there, but there'd be trouble if it was anatomical.

Uhm, you mean they only included the American version of the "package"?

"Package"
11-08-2003 06:14
Folks ,
I sure dont want to bust anyones bubble but Second Lifes
Client has so many issues that the developers need to spend
more time on real problems then a package slider .

There are so many issues that need to be fixed that the developers really need to concentrate on them . Just think
the time that was spent on a silly package slider could have been used to fix something that was really wrong . Such as phantom objects sound issues or the mouse pointer land update bug.

Someone at Sl knows better !

Rengar, i think your thinking about this all wrong. Nothing against you though, but sometimes developers need to work on these "joke" features to help them relax a little bit. They can't just do nothing but fix phantom objects, sound issues, etc. Personally, I think the lindens are doing a D@MN good job with this game. The few bugs that I experience don't really ruin much of the game for me, because all i have to do is Relog and poof, it's fixed. You can't just sit there and look at a developer and say, "hey, you should have been fixing this instead of making that", because you don't know what it was that they should be looking at. Maybe the package slider has been the side project for someone since the idea was first brought to light. Maybe that person has only been working on it sporatically, whenever he has a few extra minutes, or maybe they didn't spend much time on it at all to get it working. It was something that a lot of people have been asking for, and we don't know how long, or how much time they spent on it, but we should be happy that we at least have the feature now.
