When picking your name, did anyone have more than one name they liked? For example, I almost named myself "Olympia Pico" instead of "Olympia Rebus".

I almost thought about Midnight or Escher for a bit, but figured both sounded too cliche. And yeebus, imagine if I *had* chosen Midnight....I'da been a disgrace to the family name.

First name I thought of was the "pull out one's ass name" since I didn't expect to take SL seriously. It was LaOropezia something. An equally "stinky, snobby" last name. Then I went with Lasher Knox, thinking I'll go the cool and ev0l route. Then blah blah blah I went with the name I have now. I went the "gross ... is she for real" route.

I can't remember what my 1st name was, but 2 years ago when I registered to play SL my last name was York. I wonder if there's anyone with that last name still around.

Hm, I couldn't think of a fitting alternative. I was frustrated by the dropdown list of last names at first (making some posts at SLUniverse.com to get more info), but "Wong" was an expired past name -- has anyone even seen any Wongs in SL? Sure can't find any mention, not even on the Beta Tester Monument! -- and thusly, I decided to dive in and go for the obvious choice.

Jet Valkyrie, a la The Tick. Can't remember why I didn't stick with it though.

I would have gone with something Protaganist, but I don't really identify with any of the characters (But I would be standing in line at Black Sun like I didn't give a).
I want an alt, maybe sometime this month.

Some other names I deliberated over were 'Lowin Fats' and 'Magic Marker' (I beleive someone took that name, good on 'em!). In the end I decided i wanted a name i'd be happy to wear for a looooong time in SL, so I'm glad I chose this one.

was gonna go with Patience Grasshopper, but realized, people would think I'm a girl, so went this route, which is an expression, or close to it. It's a guy who works on his car out in his yard.
