Just throwing in my support for Andrew's excellent handling of this multiple version craziness.
Everyone makes mistakes, but it takes a special kind of person to be so open and honest about it. LL is full of these special people and it's what makes SL great!
When was the last time you saw a corporation admitting they made a mistake and APOLOGISING to you for it?
Thank you for being so quick to respond to and correct this issue! :)

Andrew is Teh Awz0menezz.

Definitly some big balls on that little evil villian looking man.

I agree with you Sio - Andrew rocks!

How many developers do you know that would be willing to admit a mistake like this, let alone posting their mea culpa in a public forum? It just goes to prove how much the nice folks at LL really care about us.

Lindens, I love you guys! (some more than others, but you know who you are...) :p

Yes I have to agree! And I can't even remember the last time I saw a corporation apologize for a mistake (that was not court ordered anyway).

Thank You Andrew - we lurves ya!

I can tell you from first hand experiance that NO game company anywhere does this, and I should know as I have been dealing with PC games (online & offline) & gamming companies since there conception (Boy does THAT date me lol)! LL is the most dedicated and carring I have ever see and for that they are golden in my book. You absolutly ROCK people and if there is anything that I can do to help you in any way don't hesitate to ask.

I agree! ANDREW OWNZ! Even during beta, Andrew and I used to talk for hours about SL and it's future! (this was like version 0.3 ~ 0.5) I havn't really had a chat with him in a long time, but i'm sure he is very busy these days!

Awwww. Thanks for all the warm fuzzies guys.

Hmmm... I've got a new plan for 1.6: make a stupid mistake that causes a bunch of pain, suffering, and trouble, then quickly fix it while admitting my culpability.

I will be basking in the glory!

I wonder if the glory is proportional to the inflicted pain, or inversly proportional to the duration of the suffering. I must experiment!

Nah, it only works once. Second time, it gets a lot more painful and probably involves Seburos. If it's really bad, I may have to sing at you, and you wouldn't like that.
