In my opinion, the old forums were better. At least cosmetically speaking. The graphics are nearly impossible to make out... it's like the colors are screwed up or something.

And the little mouseover trick is semi-cool, except that I can't find any rhyme or reason why it works sometimes and not others. (not that I've gone lookin' for the docs either).

Anyways, that's my vote. I don't like em.

This is not intended to reflect upon the lindens or the message board administration abilities in any way. I just think they are ugly.

And now you know how I feel.

You got me thinking when you said "mouseover". What trick are you referring to? :)

I just noticed that when I try to do a mouseover on the menus above like "ABOUT SECOND LIFE", "COMMUNITY", and "SECOND LIFE NEWS", it doesn't do an auto-dropdown menu like before. But I am optimistic this will be added back in the next few days. :D

sometimes, when you hover your mouse over the subject of a post, you get the first few lines of the post. It's kinda neat, if not terribly useful. But sometimes it does it and sometimes it don't.

At first I thought it was just unread messages, but sometimes I get it when I've read it, and sometimes not. go figure. One thing that it is really good for though is obscuring the text of the subject below the next few posts down the list.

Yes, they are. They are the graphics set for the pale blue/white color scheme, with a maroon/black color scheme instead.

As Robin already told us, they will be fixed :)

The new forums are great!

Only thing, I would like to have our names and profile on the left, not on the top. Long lines are hard and slow to read. Better to have the profile on the left and a little less wide messages.

Hey, Lindens! Set it to use *legacy*:
It's in vBulletin options - Style and language settings - Use legacy postbit template. That will fix it.

Other than that, I'm a happy camper.
