Which do prefer to use -- the forums or the blogs?

I prefer the blogs as I find more signal and less noise.

I'd vote, but my choice doesn't appear in the poll:

I like having the option of both venues, the blogs, which tend to be more personalized, and the forums (fora?), which I tend to see as more of a public-service channel (not without its fun) -- though I know that's not a universal view.

That said, I don't much comment on other people's blogs, though I do read them.

Yeah, I was going to put in the Other option but hit the wrong button.

They're both bollocks. Blogs are there for when you want to post a forum message, but fear you will get flamed.

I do both, but I post on forums far more.

I vote Forum, I like the interaction. Blogs are interesting but they are a one way street.

You should all download http://www.sharpreader.net

It's a bit different then, because the set of blogs becomes kind of a meta forum. The only difference is that it's really easy to ignore someone (just remove their blog from your list) and people tend have more of an ownership attitude when they're running their own blog.
