new SL group on MySpace! come join us!

i have created a group on MySpace called, SecondSpace.

this group is for all involved with SL; SLers, LL, etc..

i'm hoping this group will bring our community closer together, while at the same time defining what we're all about for those who aren't i"in the know".

i know many may think of MySpace as a glorified dating service, but trust me.. there's much more to it than that. it's an excellent resource for networking. i have found many groups there that could infuse exciting new blood into SL.

(i'm really not trying to advertise anything here, i don't get anything out of this except for doing what i can to extend the reach and scope of SL. basically, i'm trying to make the path to SL's future wider and richer.)

i hear ya, FL\lipper.. i started with Friendster, but it was on the cusp of MySpace becoming popular, so i ended up abandoning Friendster in favor of the better refined current choice.

but yeah, thinkers/creators/developers/etc... these are the people i want to try to spark interest in towards SL.

Funny thing about Sasha (yeah, right, that's not her real name)... we've been friends since we were about 13. She's grown into quite the wild one. But she's actually always been quite a computer geek on the side, from back in the BBS days.

I'll have to track down more of my friends and beat them into submitting to SL!

how i remember those days, making mods (music) with ScreamTracker, playing a message board type of RPG via a BBS.. man, i was doing that before i switched over from DOS to Windows.. lol..

definitely the type of people we need to wrangle into SL..
