Landmarks: keeping track of them

This happens all the time- I meet a friend or stranger who offers me landmarks of places I may like to visit. Problem is, by the time I get around to checking them out, I've forgotten what the place was called and have to sort though a pile of unorganized landmarks to figure out which place was which.

Anyone else have similar problems? Or tips to keeping them more organized?

I'm thinking of putting any new landmarks I give out in a flolder called "Landmarks from Olympia" or something like that so the recipient can instantly tell who they're from (and decide whethor or not to check them out based on this info).

Also, any feature suggestions for making landmarks easier to sort? (I can repost suggestions in the feature section). Perhaps if they were sorted by type: club, garden, gathering place, game, etc.. Or perhaps they (or the 10 newest ones) could appear on the world map? Any other ideas?

I have mine sorted in all sorts of ways. Fav Places, Shopping (Furniture, Clothing, Animations, ETC all have their own folder within Shopping), Shops (where I have my items for sale), Newbie Landmarks, etc. makes it easy. When I get a new landmark, it's not "filed" yet. If I forget what it is. I go see, then either delete it or file it accordingly.

I need a better system of unexplored landmarks too. I have folders for the places I know about (stores, friends, attractions, etc.) but maybe I need an "unexplored" category. Then I explore it, it either gets moved to another folder or deleted.

Heather, I didn't see yours for some reason before I posted. Sounds like a great system :)
