Well I have been in SL for just over a week now and have to say I am impressed with the stuff that I have seen, and have not even scratched the surface of the content offered in SL. There are a few bugs like when I am flying my plane and hit a boundery and thrown out and hit the ground, also have not really found a good place to play with my sub but I am looking. I even started building the early prototype of my Personal Airplane, danced the night away in the Maui Beach Club and made a few friends not to bad for a week , I am looking forward to taking some building classes and even shutter writing the script for the plane if I ever get it finished hehe. The more I see the more ideas I come up with and the list grows longer each day, I sure hope that toontown sim gets build color me there !... I guess I got to say I love the freedom of SL.... Now to degress a bit ...
I have a friend in There was looking a the game over at her house and I was surprised that you have to get you stuff approved wow.. I guess that just seems strange to me, I have to submit my design to There and get it ok'ed how unlike Sl where I can build what I want when I want.. I also was not impressed with the pardon the expression the Highly structured system offered in There.. No I have not played the game but I am just making some obervations based on what I what I have seen on other peoples computers. SO I will be staying with SL for sometime to come.
In conclusion I am not throwing stones or saying one is better then the other but they are 2 different Beasts and I think that SL is the place to be . I would also like to say thanks for all the nice people and a special hey and howdy to the Lady and Lord of the Maui Beach Club ! I hope to see everybody in game and if you happen to know where a cathedral is built in game I would love to see it as I think I want to make one one day ( well when my designs stop looking like linlcon log desasters...
Cheers and see ya soon Dracc Czukor

Hi Dracc and welcome!
Regarding fun places for subs...
I really enjoy piloting my submarine in the waterways around Abbotts, Stinson, Rodeo, Davenport, Bodega and down to Palomarian. Right now there is a big inland lake/sea called Void 20 above Abbotts to explore and there are large water areas in Palomarian, Myrtle, Kelham and Deimos with smaller waterways connecting them. You can even tour around and end up back at Abbotts from the opposite direction. It's a nice ride with lots of little underwater nooks and crannies.
Void 20 is part of the Lindens' experiment to add open water areas where there are currently blank gaps between sims in The Grid. Recently there was another void sim above Void 20 and two others a bit to the NW. Hope to see those back as well as others in the future.
See you on the other side!

Welcome to SL, Dracc! I just sent you an invitation to the SL Submariners group.
I like to take the subs through the narrow channels between the island sims. A good route I take is from Abbotts, through the canyon in Noyo, and on to the sims in the northwest. Make sure you visit Seacliff in a sub. Eddie and Fallingwater have some excellent sea life wandering around there.
Have fun!

And this, Dracc, is why There will never be the Metaverse. How can you grow rapidly if everything has to be approved? How can you have freedom if you have a censor? We have some great artistic expression in SL and we don't need approval to do so. Welcome to SL, make yourself at home, and good luck!
