I live in a VAN! DOWN BY THE RIVER!!! ![]() Aww, such a shame to lose him. Right up there with the loss of Phil Hartman. God they were funny! I cried laughing at times watching Chris. To compete with Olympia I live not far from where Andrew Cunanan started his cross country killing spree... Yay! ![]() _____________________

I grew up in no where's ville, but now live outside in suburb of St. Louis. I miss Chris Farley too, guys. I loved that part when he was on with Patrick Swayze auditioning for Chippendales, which is probably what Blake Flakes looks like (Chris not Patrick).

I used to live in an apartment right across the street from the park where Wesley Alan Dodd killed one child and attempted to kill/abduct another.
I also live in a small city where Ted Bundy, passing through, abducted/killed at least one of his victims. Now I live in an upper scale apartment complex that is being plagued by car theft, robbery and rape. /sigh.... _____________________

Well, I guess you could say I live in an apartment, since I live in a building and not really in a "house" but... here in portugal we dont call these apartments. An apartment, to me, implies something tiny and modern. The place I grew up in was part of a building, yes, but it was more like a palace than an apartment. I could ride my bike inside that hall, it was 20 meters long. There's probably like 10 rooms in that place. Plus my ceilings are like 4 meters tall.
Some apartments out there would probably fit inside my living room. _____________________

We live in a house in the suburbs. I hate it and miss living in the city. When our kids are grown, I'm sure we'll move to a condo downtown, or at least within the city limits in some sort of interesting area with neighborhood-ish shops and stuff, instead of this strip mall- and monster SUV-infested wasteland.
And, since everybody else is doing it... When I was in the sixth grade, a girl from my class disappeared the weekend of our county fair (in a small town in southeastern WA). Her body has never been found; however, police are pretty sure she was murdered by a local guy who is also the major suspect of interest in some other local murders, including three young adults who were last seen at a civic theater and a student from a nearby university whose dismembered body was found in a local river. The really creepy thing about all this for me is that the main suspect is the step-father of another girl who was in our class at the time. I happened to be friends with her and spent a lot of time at her house; I didn't find out until years later, when I was in college, that this particular guy was the main suspect in these murder investigations. At least once while at their house, I felt inexplicably scared and had to leave the house immediately because of an overwhelming feeling of panic. I still get chills thinking about it. And I can't believe that, after all these years, this guy is still on the loose. *shudder* |

I live 5 blocks from where Reagan was shot and 2 blocks from Gary Condit's old apartment.
In two weeks I'll be living in the Charlotte suburbs. It'll be just like Green Acres! _____________________

Whooah! That is creepy! Glad he didn't harm you. Neehai, my sympathy on moving to the 'burbs. One piece of advice: Keep your front lawn looking decent. Beyond that, most suburb residents won't ask many questions or bother you unduly. |

Nice apartment complex in Las Vegas, as far from the Strip and Downtown as we could get.

I moved from a nice home in the 'country' to an apartment in the suburbs.
I simply got tired of driving 1 1/2 hours to work every morning and evening. When it snowed, up to two and a half hours. Now, I walk to work. Exactly 7 minutes. But I still miss the peace, tranquility and silence of my 'country' home. ![]() - T - ps. Neehai, my sympathy on moving to the 'burbs. One piece of advice: Keep your front lawn looking decent. Beyond that, most suburb residents won't ask many questions or bother you unduly. ). They also asked us not to barbeque, as the smoke was, apparently, lowering their property values. oONeedless to say, as soon as we could arrange it, we threw a topless front-lawn barbeque party. You'd never seen a family pile into their minivan faster than they did that day. ![]() Now I live way up in the sky, in a nice apartment building, with a wonderful view. ![]() _____________________
