If you use Yahoo Instant Messenger and are bored and would like to chat with other SL Yahoo users, there is a Second Life Yahoo chat room. To access it, select Yahoo Chat Rooms from the Messenger menu on your buddy list, then on User Created, and it is under the Computers & Internet category. Send me an IM at cristiano_diaz if you want to join and can't find it.

The IRC channel still exist's ya'know?
Grab your favourite IRC client (windows users tend to prefer mirc, other platforms lean towards the fabulous xchat), and look in #secondlife on efnet (which is now over a year old. ). -Adam _____________________

Yes it does exist, some people prefer not to use IRC - just an option for people who already have Yahoo open anyway.

If you don't want to reveal your main yahoo account/profile, go to Messenger > My Profiles > Create/Edit Profiles before entering the chat room. Then, before entering the chat room, be sure to select your SL profile before entering chat. I'd recommend creating a profile with your SL name.
