God, I just watched this movie and it SUCKED! It was boring, cookie cutter, and just plain crude. I guess I'm not a South Park fan  What's with all the bush bashing? For the love of god, enough already. You're not accomplishing anything, and he will go away soon enough anyway. This is definitely not worthy of a 7.3 IMDB rating. I didn't learn anything from that movie, I didn't feel anything, I did not gain any insights, and I hardly ever even laughed at all the stupid teen-oriented jokes. If you're the kind of person who will laugh your head off at the mere mention of "blowjob", then you have to see this movie. If your sense of humor is the least bit refined, and you prefer movies with actual content, then skip it. |

Bush bashing? Are you sure about that? You do know that Trey Parker and Matt Stone are Republicans, right? I think the movie was more at the expense of the Hollywood Left than anyone else. "Alec Baldwin, President, Film Actors Guild [F.A.G.]" "You're going into battle without an actor? That's suicide!" And Mis, the difference between this and Thunderbirds was that Thunderbirds took the puppetry seriously, while Parker and Stone use it as a comedic vehicle. ("Freedom hangs by a thread!"  You don't really think they meant for the marionette kung fu fight to be taken seriously, did you? (Much less the marionette sex scene...) Hey, if you didn't like it, you didn't like it, whatever. But if you think there's nothing there but Bush bashing and gross-out humor, you missed most of what the movie was about. More here and here. |
