I went downtown to eat today, and saw a small advertisement for Bud Extra.

It's beer with caffeine, Ginseng, and some other root in it. And it comes in a suspiciously Red Bull-like can.

I detest the taste of beer, and will never sample this, but can we get some feedback from an actual test?

This just seems wrong on so many levels.

I dont drink alcohol. I hate beer. But I used to drink something called Green Sands without even realizing it had beer in it, lol. It was beer with apple juice and lemon juice or something.
To me, it was just a really cool soda

Red Bull SUCKS though. It has zero effect on me and it tastes like crap. Most energy drinks do.
Want some advice? Water is your friend.

To answer Zuzi's question, the site is unprepared to offer any what you might call "facts."

But you MUST be eighteen to view the Flash presentation, and I can see why. Lots of little 3D sparklies.

When dealing with U.S. consumers, it's important to put first things first.

Oh...wait...a fact: "Guarana" is the other premium additive.

"Natural Flavor" is also prominently mentioned as a Special Ingredient. And the site's usage of fonts and colors is downright lovely, almost regal.

I'd call it Bud WTF.

I thought it was a spoof at first.

I can't imagine the average Bud drinker thinking "Golly! Ginsing and Natural Flavor! That's for me!"
