Hi there,
Ive been looking for a large plot of land ( around a whole region ) to buy at auction or one-off, and I found Carnforth by looking at the 'Land for sale' tab of the world map. However, when I get there and click about land, I get an auction ID, but no bid option. After investigating via the secondlife.com DB, apparently the auction in question ended with 0 bids... Is this true? Or have they not got round to auctioning it off yet?

Occaionally a plot will be auctioned and no one will bid. In that case, the parcel will be reauctioned.

if it says that it ended with zero bids that is true. it will be relisted at some point in time.
if you find purple land that isn't in the current auction list, you can search for it on the auction page using the sim name. be sure to check the "include description" box.

it hasnt ended with 0 bids, just has no auction data, because it hasnt been listed on the site yet.
Pretty much EVERYTHING that goes up to auction is sold
