Hello All,

I'm at work, bored and reading the forums. I'll be even more bored later, being as I'm in Europe and SL is gonna be down for pretty much all the time I can play it today.

But I got to thinking... how come I have never met so many of the people who post regularly here?! I just looked at a dozen threads and have never met 90% of the posters. I glanced at the list of people on the forums just now, and don't know most of them either!

Ok, so I don't get out all that much in SL (I'm always *in* SL. I just never get out much)

I gotta get out there and network more, evidently :)

So my question (for anyone else who is as bored as I am) is ... where do you live in SL and what do you do? Cos I want to come and meet some of you! :)

(Eggy need not apply, of course... I saw more than enough of Eggy at the pool party on Saturday :D )

Am also bored... resting up cause i hurt my back... having problems with SL right now too so can't even get into the preview! And am also UK time so i sympathise about not having much time to play in 1.2 tonight. But on the bright side... we get Boxing Day to mess about in it :D

At home, bored, sleepy, thinking of dragging my lazy ass around the corner to get my mom and gf some xmas presents and then proceeding to the supermarket to get something for dinner.

wow. an exclusively European thread so far!

Hey Cai, Vic, Azelda and Eggy! :)

Cai and Vic, yes I've definitely met you guys, although I don't think I've seen where you live or anything.

Cai... I have one or two photos, though I'm sure Eggy would be more than happy to come demonstrate his pool party attire to you in person :)

Azelda... have we met in SL? (I *do* also have a really bad memory for names, which may contribute to my not recognizing some people...)

If not, where do you hang out in SL? What do you do? And can I come visit? :)

Eggy... hey, hotstuff! *wolf whistle*

I'm bored too. All alone without my honey (he's away on business) and my SL friends.

Sorry to spoil the all-European purity of this thread. :-)

Ah, but being as you're one of best SL friends, I'll forgive you :)

Hi hon. Sorry to hear you're bored... go post a feature request for an offline compiler so you can finish my script.... :D

It's almost done and WAY cool (I think). I just need you to change the direction of the light cone so it's pointing along Z instead of X.

That offline compiler thingy would be SO cool.

I'm terminally bored as well. At work. Yay.

CST timezone.

I have a mountain abode in Blue. Not certain if I'm going to either:

A) Go nomad completely. (No house, maybe a small patch of land to act as 'home base').

B) Go vertical - maybe start at 400m and just make something.

C) Rent from others..

But I'd like to meet you guys. I'm usually on during the week from about 3pm PST to 8:30 PST. Weekends usually longer.

I'd love to have some off-server build/scripting sandbox tool, but I realize that would give up some of the security built in to the system....but....pretty please lindens? I'd sign an NDA.

Perhaps we could all meet up and stand around somewhere with one arm in the air pointing and pretend to be playing?

Dang, I'm getting cold turkey here :-((((((

Only if you can master the art of standing with your right arm pointing straight through your body at something on the floor to your left.

Then you have achieved true SLness in RL.

LMAO! (oops... that makes me a hypocrit, doesn't it?)

So can you get into the preview, Tracy? I haven't tried it myself (and not so sure if I want to after the things I've read elsewhere :p ) but I guess we could stand around in there contorting our arms instead of over at our place? :D

(cos I'm home from work now, but still bored)

I know you in game Kris.. hehe.. but I'll say hi anyway. :)

I'm home sick with the flu, again! And its the pits. :(

I'm in Georgia in RL. Federal in SL. I must say I much prefer the weather in SL to RL. hehe
