I have no idea what Merriman is trying to say, but it looks dangerously close to a giggly comment.

That's why i decided to bring up the subject of Red Vines. Eat too many of them, make you sick, but those first few are scrumptous. Not to mention they double as a straw.
Any Product with Two uses can't be all bad.

Script what? Tell me your thinking about scripting Staple removers that bite, and chop and nibble. That would be one of the dorkiest but coolest Idea's Iv'e EVER heard!
If you think about it, this brings up all sorts of ideas!
Staplers, glue sticks, white out strips (and liquid white out ),
Post It despenser's that shoot post it's, Scissors, Mechanical pencils, all with vicious personalities...I think you guys are onto something.
If that's not what you meant...ummm... NM.

someone definitely needs to make a giant office desktop jungle where people would be mouse-sized and vicous packs of staple removers would roam the pencil holder forests looking for prey.

Possible if you make all the trees actually desk legs and filing cabinets. Brilliant idea. It would be a lot of fun to make.

trapped in the desktop jungle! you try to run..pushing your way throgh thickets of pens and pencils but you stumble into the tape dispenser. you struggle to free yourself...all around the eyes of the staple removers gleam in the darkness..closer and closer! the eerie cry of frightened photocopiers shatters the stillness as the staple removers attack, their fangs gleaming in the flickering flourescent light.

I think you just described my work life.
We are actually entertaining this as a good idea....I think that just says volumes about how we feel about our jobs.

Actually, it'd be cool to make an area of ANYTHING that was gigantic... making your AV look really small... oooo... that'd be coooooool. Giant "keep left" signs, giant food, giant nails... It's so cool in my head

Like that old Super Nintendo or Genesis game with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck in the giant kitchen, etc. That would be fun.

i saw a game one time that was about racing little matchbox type cars on the kitchen table or on a desktop or the bedroom floor with jumps and obstacles made of things you'd find there. that would be fun to setup in SL with a huge tabletop racetrack and little cars we could sit on and drive around.

looks like this thread needs to move to Projects with all the ideas people are having.
