Boxing?

((I must apologize, but I'm not entirely sure where to post.))

Anyways, I noticed the boxing deal on the "play" page here, and I was wanting to try it out, however, the only boxing thing I could find was the Secondlife Boxing Arena thing, and no one was there.

*Shakes head* Anyways, could anyone suggest a good spot for a new player to try out the boxing?

Heyo Flashfire, and welcome to Second Life. For SL boxing, my recommendation is that you IM Tommy Rampal or one of the others in the SLB Boxing group (go to FIND ---> GROUPS and search for "boxing" there), and ask them for more details on when they hold events and such.

There is something related you may also be interested in: Doc Boffin, Hiro Protagonist, and a whole team are working together on a project called SIM Combat that emphasizes close-quarters combat with melee weapons. I think the system could be adapted for boxing as well although it'd be best to ask them. Just to let ya know!
