Just wondering, I have a 1024 plot and want more prims. If I buy another 512 plot, as long as it's in the same sim, it will still give me more prims to play around with right? The plots don't have to be connected for that, do they? Thanks for any help!

Nope, no need to be connected. You can aggregate prim count from any parcels you own in that sim.

Cutter is absolutely correct. So long as you own the land necessary to support the prims in a sim, you can put those prims on any plot you own there.
For completeness' sake, I'll also add that if for management reasons, you'd like your plots that are not adjacent but in the same sim to be considered a single plot, you can use the Land tool to "Join" them. They don't have to be connected to do this, and you can do things like set permissions and options and the like on both plots as a single "lot" as far as the Land tool is concerned.

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't the plots have to be in the same sim?
