Is anyone else sick of threads like this?

Example:
Ok, read a whole bunch of shit that I care about, I will not give any opinion, I just want to waste a bunch of your time, then y'all argue about it.

So... go ahead... read the entire Encyclopedia Britannica and discuss...

Go ahead...

Still waiting...

How about YOU read all of that crap and tell us what YOU think it says in a brief thread starter then YOU tell us what YOU think about it, then we will discuss it!

There, all better now.

I don't think anything that can't be explained in a run-on sentence is important, but then again, I'm not terribly bright so my ideas aren't too complex.

I love run-on sentences, as a matter of fact, it is my belief that if you write a run on sentence, making certain that it is of adequate length, those who read out loud will pass out from asphyxiation but this is only if you can keep them engaged in the subject much like the many political subjects to which I have the occasion to respond though only when they are of importance to my adgenda.

Because forming your own opinions based on the facts given, independent of any other person's analysis, is the best way to go about things. If I say my summary of the article you probably won't even read it, just post something in response to my analysis.

If you want the topic starter to post their opinions on the article, you should do so first. Then they will post theirs and you can discuss your differences or similarities of view.

Your best way...my best way. Sometime I have found the links posted beneficial. Maybe it is just me.

This is a pay site. Do you get some sort of kick back from Brittanica?

I'm not falling for your thinly veiled marketing scheme. Get a real job to help pay off this deficit.

you said reverence, did you mean reference?

I found that the Encyclopedia Brittanica, while full of colorful settings, interesting and varied minor characters, and detailed battle scenes, to lack a compelling sense of plot development, owing perhaps to it structure being oriented around alphabetical order. This is an important thing to keep in mind if one is starting out a career as a novelist.
