Since there are no paper trails on the machines, we will never truly know, but the most statistically compelling report yet has been released showing discrepancies in Florida counties where certain types of machines were used, and the discrepancy of course always favored Bush by a wide margin by comparison to comparable counties using standard equipment, even with taking into account all kinds of factors that could have swayed Democratic votes so overwhelming towards Bush, they still found a 200,000+ vote discrepancy, and that ws being conservative.

I know many Bush fans will just blow it off as a conspiracy theory, but set aside political bias and look objectively at the report. I find it terrifying to think that we have gotten to a point politically where electronic voting machines are used to help a candidate win. That is the height of corruption, for any political party to do, and I would have been equally upset had this report been about Kerry. If our voting process is being taken over and affected, that is as serious as taking away our right to vote.

What I find disturbing is these problems are always found in the swing states. Its almost like the other states don't matter. The majority of the time they have a projection of a new president before the west coast polls close. I just don't understand the purpose of electorial votes. How are we supposed to believe "every vote counts"? :(
