Interesting little article that basically states... Is SL a community, or is it a game? For those of you looking for a marketing aspect of SL -- written in another thread -- just think what would happen to membership if SL were linked in the the new up-and-coming "social-based" software products. Friendster, anyone?

Friendster isn't a dating site per se -- it's more of a "networking" community -- almost like "Seven Degrees to Kevin Bacon."

I've got all the toe jobs I can handle. I tell you, it's hard being the only SL pedicurist here, money is good, but damn, I do get tired of you men hollaring... "Hey bayyyybeee, how about getting on your knees and giving me a good ol' fashioned toe job?"
Seriously, think on the advertising side -- if the profiles in Friendster had SL in them... if the profiles in e-Bay had SL links in them...
Best free advertising you could get.
