Is anyone using this device? They say it will allow you to stream your PC multimedia to your Television.

If someone is using this, can you tell me if you have used it while playing Second Life, and what was the picture like?

Thanks!

I've never used this particular device, but I have a similar one (wired, not wireless, but that's not really an important distincition for your question I don't think). Generally speaking PC video to TV looks terrible. Unless you have a hi-def digital TV, you'll find you won't be able to read text unless it absolutely huge so chat in SL would likely be out. Also, it's highly unlikely that you'd be able to see much detail in texturing unless yuou zoom the camera in really, really close.

All this is speculation though since I haven't tried it. I loaned my VGA to TV interface thingy to someone who needed it for a slideshow presentation (about all they're really good for). I'll have to get it back and try the experiment. I'll report my findings here in a day or two.

Thanks Chosen!

I do have a Hi-Def set and was thinking of getting this device. Before I did though, I would want to make sure this worked!
