Why this low number of prims in the new version? And why is it bound to the amount of land you own? ..

It's because the default texture for prims is wood, and Linden Lab is trying to conserve the virtual forests. Save a virtual tree! Use recycled bytes!

The prim limit in each sim has been raised from 10,000 to 15,000. The personal prim limit is bound to the amount of land you own to prevent the problem of people using more than their share of a sim's prims and preventing anyone else from building. Now each resident gets a share of their home sim's prims.

Good one, Cubey. :) I'm conserving virtual trees by setting the material of all my prims to glass; sand is plentiful!

Has anyone gotten any E-mail from Linden labs... I have not and was wondering if they will send out the e-mail they assured me that they would send out, describing what you had and what you need to do to get below the level if you are above.

Thanks
