That was the map when I joined. The world looks so dinky compared to now.
Anyway, as large as the world is, I don't know if a map would fit. Maybe they should just have a second advertising kiosk or something?

I think it's kind of cool. Like leaving covered bridges in place in New England.

Since the world is so large now, perhaps it would be better to just show a local portion of the map relating to each particular telehub and, perhaps with a click, an overall map showing the whole world.
This would take more work initially, but might end up not needing to be updated as much. Especially if the overall map could be updated automatically.

Thats a good idea Salazar. What would be *realy* cool is... llGetWorldMap(integer face, integer type), basicly this would apply the current world map to the prim as a texture on the face of the object. Whenever the map would be updated, every object would then update the texture as well. The integer type would be what kind of map to get, i.e. New Objects, Land For Sale, Objects For Sale, or Terrain mode for the map. I'd love to have something like this. You could stretch and zoom it too if its treated like a texture!
