Surely, it can't just be me who enjoys having some sort of a soundtrack playing while posting to the forums. I turn the volume less loud than I'd ideally like because of my hyperacusis, but that's okay, because that kind of noise is seriously damaging to your ears over the longterm anyhoo. I like not having spacious silence when I post, because when I play music, it gets me in sort of a mood and helps the communication to flow. So lately, when I've been posting, I've been listening to Juno Reactor & Don Davis's "Navras" on a loop. Even if you're not familiar with the name, you've prolly heard it before -- remember that dramatic fight scene at the end of Matrix Revolutions? That's what music I have playing so... there ya go!  As you can imagine, this ch00n really helps put me in the mood for posting. I also have cyberpunkish music (i.e. Deus Ex soundtrack) and when I wanna get looney and commit SLibel, I have retro-60s shopping music, complete with all the scratchy vinyl crackling action. Sometimes a little "Chariots of Fire" goes down well with a flaming thread.  What's YOUR fave music to play when posting to the SL Forums? |

I am very specific about the music I listen to when I post. I almost always listen to Rage Against the Machine, Bob Marley or old skool jazz. At my house in world I love to stream the classic jazz like Saint John Coltrane and Thelonius Monk. I love me some good jazz! |

I like to listen to Cake. Their jabs at pop culture get me a a thoughtful mood. If I am in a darker mood I listen to Rammstein, Black Sabbath (with Ozzy), Led Zeppelin- Usually Houses of the Holy, Presence or Physical Graffiti. Achille's Last Stand and No Quarter come to mind. If I am in a spacey mood it's definately Pink Floyd or maybe even Kraftwerk or Moby. If I am feeling peppy I listen to reggae, ska, or even No Doubt. WTF is NBC by the way? Nuclear Biological Chemical?
