If you haven't seen this series, go out and rent it or buy the DVDs. I rented the 1st season through Blockbuster and, having never seen it before, watched the entire season in two days. It's a great show. I'm now getting Season 2 and hoping that it gets picked up for a 3rd season. Finally a new idea for a show.

I've been hooked on this show since day one. It's amazing - sometimes it's happy happy joy joy, sometimes it's a darker more serious sort of thing. Something for everyone, that's for sure.
Addictive. Especially since i don't watch tv anymore. Ok ok - except for DLM. *impish grin*

This show has some of the best writing on television.

So many classic lines and quotes to be had from Dead Like Me. I seriously love it. Funniest series I've watched in many years.
"I'd say I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not. I excel at not giving a shit. Experience has taught me that interest begets expectation, and expectation beget disappointment, so the key to avoiding disappointment is to avoid interest. A equals B equals C Equals A, or whatever. I also don't have a lot of interest in being a good person or a bad person. From what I can tell, either way, you're screwed. Bad people are punished by society's laws, and good people are punished by Murphy's Law. So you see my dilemma."
Mason shows George how the undead look to the living George: Who decides what we look like? Mason: I don't know. Maybe this is what our inner child looks like when it grows up. George: If that were the case, it looks like my inner child's road to adulthood was paved with crack cocaine, ten-dollar blowjobs, and maybe even a trick baby or two.

agreed, DLM is an excellent program. a combination of cerebral and primal entertainment. and, as Neehai mentioned, the writing is superb.. while there are some exagerations, it's also realistic.. perhaps realism with flair? anyhoo, i missed a bit of season 1 and most of season 2.. argh! i should add it to my Christmas list.
