How can they work on a 1.1 when they can't even get 1.0 right?

Maybe 1.1 will answer some of your problems? Hang in there and see what happens.

Wow, other than some minor frustrations I have had with some scripting bugs, 1.0 has been pretty stable and bug free for me. As far as how they can consider 1.1 when they haven't fixed 1.0, surely 1.1 includes bug fixes for flaws that still exist in 1.0. All software has bugs in it - and for a release application that has to support as diverse hardware as SL, it has been amazingly stable for me. Sorry to see you go Zoey.

Hmm....well, usually bug fixes are included in later versions called, for example, 1.1.

How can they work on a new version of the game when the old version has bugs in it?! First they should release a new version of the old version without the old version's bugs! If they had time they could even add new features to the new version of the old version! Those features might introduce new bugs of their own, but at least there wouldn't be a whole new version or something. Geeez.

IMO, the bugs haven't been all that bad. If anything, they are just annoying. Also, we're not at 1.0. We're at 1.0.11 and from 1.0.1 to 1.0.11, there have been a lot of bug fixes.

Okay, I have the thread for all you guys. It's over in the concepts forum and it's basically my vision of what v1.2 should be (since LL is dedicated to getting all this awesome stuff packed into v1.1). Basically, after 1.1 is released, I'm petitioning the feature and bug forums with the most wanted features and most hated bugs in hopes that both threads will get enough replies to tell LL that we want v1.2 (or any in-between versions, like 1.1.1 and so on) to be a bug-killer feature-adder release. Now I know you're wondering what features I'm talking about. They aren't listed by importance yet in the thread I have in the concepts forum, but basically, I want LL to get started on giving us the simplest features first, the ones that we've all really wanted (like turning off user join/leave, or money exchange messages). Just wait it out, I'm sure you'll be getting the SL you want in no time (at least before april 2004)

I'm sorry, I thought I laid it on thick enough but I guess not. I was in fact being sarcastic and agreeing with the other posters pointing out that 1.1 is the natural progression from 1.0.

Yeah! C'mon... how dare they wait to release a NEW version with bug fixes and new features? Can't they come round to my house right now and fix them for me? hur hur hur
Actually, I think my first life is pretty bug-ridden. In 16 years of driving, my car has crashed TWICE! Tax is too high, it takes my body at least EIGHT HOURS to reboot at night, and goddamit, my eye's are the wrong colour!!!!
I want my FirstLife version 1.1 already!!
