What are these spots everywhere? On the minimap they are solid black and on the land they are small spots of rock texture.
They are in every sim on the map (at least the 20-30 I checked out). Private islands have them too.

Probably grid corruption. The "fix" the did to get rid of the cracks didn't actually get rid of the cracks (that I could see in the preview, at least), and since they were fuxx0ring around with the heightmap code anyway, they probably introduced a nice bit of corruption into it.
The grid should probably fall apart in a few days. I wonder if the Lindens will read any of our bug reports about it before then. _____________________
