So it's gotten to that time in my project where I need to name my software. Here's a description of the project:

The goal of DW (A WORKING TITLE, SOON TO BE REPLACED) is to create an environment in which anyone can create their own 3d island world, which they can build on and operate in any way they see fit. Currently, the vast majority of multiplayer online worlds can’t be built in by their participants, and those that can either do not offer their players the opportunity to run their own world, and those that do offer very expensive plans with tools that are hard for the average person to use. The tools of DW will be friendly, and will enable the real-time editing of one’s island. Also, running an island will not have a monthly fee. One can buy the software for an upfront cost and can then run their own island using that software without paying per month.

Any name ideas? I think Gaia Somnia sounds nice, but I think I can do better. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I like the idea of using "Gaia" as part of the name. Siggy's is cool...throw some latin in with it... Gaia Dominor? (Dominor = to be lord and master of, dominate) Not sure if the grammar is right though.

Could be Dominae or Dominus or who knows...

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

Is this a continuation of your "street"/"mytheria"

Is there any backstory?

I can't think of anny really, I like the ones suggested thusfar. Maybe "Hoorah!" or "Huzzah!" or "Hippoaria".

Ah, a marketing mind. You must be as Jewish as I am

This is for the software, for which you don't need to pay a monthly fee. One time fee only. The knowledge to use it will be beginner and intermediate, with room for advanced users wanting to make their own stuff in 3D programs. It's no harder to use than SL, I'm told by other SL'ers.

My target market is anyone wanting to create their own paradise, whatever that may be, without any limitations over the world or the rules that govern it. That could be home users, people wanting to make kickass online games, or coorperations making a new generation of online malls. Very, very wide audience here.
